First and foremost, visitors require the valid passport is in date at least 6 months and has enough pages left in it to stamp the Vietnam entry Visa. Then, you should check whether you need a visa to enter Vietnam or you are in Vietnam visa exemption list. If you required Vietnam entry visa, you can come to Vietnam Embassy/Consulate to collect Vietnam Embassy/Consulate visa or apply Vietnam visa  online or Visa Vietnam on arrival in other names to save time and money. In case you are exempted visa entry Vietnam, you may obtain a visa exemption from Vietnam Embassy or consulate or collect at Vietnam airport if you travel by air to Vietnam.
If you enter Vietnam without a Vietnam Embassy visa stamp on your passport, or the visa approval letter for a visa Vietnam on arrival, you will not be permitted to enter and will be subject to deportation. Vietnam Immigration Department issue Vietnam multiple and single entry visa depends on your requests and the fee for multiple entry is higher than single one.  For Vietnam single entry visa, you can enter/exit Vietnam 1 time during the time of valid visa. If you use your Vietnam single entry visa already but it’s still valid, you can not use it again to come back Vietnam. For Vietnam multiple entry visa, you can enter /exit Vietnam unlimited times as long as your visa still valid. You should apply for Vietnam multiple entry if you are planning to leave Vietnam and re-enter from another country.

In case of emergent case, please contact your Embassy/Consulate in Vietnam, they can issue you a limited validity replacement passport in as little as one day; however, the Vietnam Immigration Department  needs three to five working days, in addition to the day of application, to issue a replacement visa.
